Cookie Policy
This portal is deliberately light. It sets no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers. The only storage it needs is a single browser entry remembering that you confirmed you are 18 or older.
Effective: October 2026.
What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
obau-age-ok |
Local storage (not a cookie, never sent to our server) | Records that you confirmed you are 18 years or older, so the age confirmation over the first block is not shown again. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| Hosting / security | Server-side log, or a strictly necessary cookie set by the host | Protects the site against abuse and helps diagnose faults. Not used for advertising or profiling. | Short-lived |
| Analytics (if enabled) | First-party or provider cookie | Aggregate, non-identifying measurement of page views so we know which guidance is read. | Per provider settings |
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels or social media trackers.
- No fingerprinting.
- No gambling account data — we operate no accounts and process no payments.
If you block storage
The site still works. Blocking local storage, or browsing privately, simply means the 18+ confirmation appears again on your next visit. No content is lost and nothing else depends on it.
How to manage cookies and storage
Every modern browser lets you inspect, block or delete cookies and site data — usually under Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and site data. You can also clear site data for this domain alone, or use a private browsing window so nothing persists. Device and browser content filters can additionally restrict access to gambling-related sites, which is worth configuring on any device used by someone under 18.
